R.S. Crawford fell in love with writing in middle school, mostly poetry. The idea for a first novel came to her in high school.

After finding a way to escape in books, she found freedom in writing. Through creating characters she's able to be whomever she dreams, and she offers readers their own escape through these characters. Reality can be harsh, and while she tries to write relatable characters, she believes we all deserve a good story with a happy ending.

Everyone has a story to tell within them; maybe not in writing, but through music or by drawing or even dance. We are all artists in our way, sometimes it just takes some longer than others the realize their potential..

 

Her goal through writing is to bring awareness to mental health while showing that everyone is worthy of love and acceptance.
